According to Dictionary.com the definition of an association is "an organized body of people who have an interest, activity, or purpose in common." With a definition like that, one could start an association for anything. But what good would it be to have an association that gathers for the purpose of watching grass grow? Or how about an association of individuals whose monthly activity is to let others walk all over them? Any takers?

Fortunately for pawnbrokers, do-nothing associations aren’t the case. There are city, state, and national organizations of businesspeople who all share the common interest of pawn brokering. That’s why we can’t stress enough that there are pawnbrokers all over the United States who are experiencing many of the same successes and difficulties that you are.

So, why not gather with other pawnbrokers in your area, in your state, and most importantly, your nation?

You truly can benefit by sharing ideas, obtaining detailed information about your industry, and informing local, state, and national governments about your concerns and issues. You can also use your combined buying power to get great deals on such things as healthcare and insurance for your business!

Support your industry and your business by getting involved! Visit www.nationalpawnbrokers.org to find an association in your area.
